We are excited kick off Coon Rapid Football Weekend this weekend, September 15-17th.  There are many activities going on to promote football in Coon Rapids.  Read on for details:

Friday, September 15th

Youth Night at the CRHS Varsity football game vs. Park Center at 7 pm

All youth players get in free to the Varsity game.  Here are the details:

• Players need to arrive at 6:15 pm at CRHS and meet up with all the players behind the concession stand
• All players need to be wearing their game jerseys
• Players will form a tunnel for the Varsity players to run through when they take the field
• Players will line up for the start of the Varsity game
• Coaches and coach reps for each team will be in charge of the players until they are released after the start of the game to their parents
• Parents/guardians are asked to attend the game, coaches will not be watching players during the game

Saturday, September 16th

There are youth football games at Sand Creek park all day.  All teams will also be having their photos taken.  Coaches will be handing out picture forms (also online HERE) and times for each team have been added to your team pages (see HERE to find your team).

CRYF apparel will be available for sale and the concession stand will be open all day.

We encourage CRYF families to come early or stay late to watch other CRYF teams play!  Here is the schedule of games at Sand Creek Park:

• CR 3rd Grade (King) vs. Centennial @ 11 am - East Field

• CR 5th Grade (Le Claire) vs. SLP @ 2 pm - West Field
• CR 7th Grade (Perez) vs. Forest Lake @ 2:30 pm - East Field
• CR 6th Grade (Anderson) vs. SLP @ 3:30 pm - West Field

Sunday, September 17th

The Coon Rapids Gridiron Club is hosting a mattress fundraiser for the CRHS Football team.  We encourage all CRYF Families to attend if they are looking to purchase a mattress!  Details can be found HERE.
