Please Remind your Players and Parents:
No Jewelry can be worn while participating in basketball. All Jewelry must be removed, including ear rings. COVERING THEM WITH TAPE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!! This includes recently pierced ears. The only options are, remove them, or don't play.
Only fouls and violations listed in the hand signals page of the rule book can be called. There is no such thing as "over the back", or "reaching in".
Also remember: A player gets 3 seconds in the lane after each shot is attempted. Which means if a player shoots and misses and their own team gets the rebound, they get 3 more seconds in the lane. So, if several shots are attempted and missed a player could legally be in the lane for an extended period of time. (Most parents/fans don't know this)
